So what have I been up to lately?  It’s been 2 months since I’ve started at New Life.  During that time, and a little before, I’ve been doing a lot of reading. Sustainable Youth Ministry by Mark DeVries.  The Return of the Prodigal Son by Henri Nouwen.  7 Practices of Effective Ministry by Andy Stanley.  Currently, I am reading In the Name of Jesus by Henri Nouwen.  On deck: re-read Practicing the Presence of People by Mike Mason.  In the hole:  Why Revival Tarries by Leonard Ravenhill.   I don’t know, maybe I’ll call an audible and switch up the order.  (What can I say?  I like to live life on the edge!  Haha).   Any other Suggestions?

On another note, I’m so excited as I prepare for upcoming events and series for the remainder of 2013.  So much so that as I begin thinking and praying about the foray into 2014, there’s also a feeling of anxiousness and apprehension, realizing that I know and remember a lot less than I would like.  It just emphasizes the need for prayer, how crucial it is.
