I haven’t updated in a long while, but there has been so much going on lately, and I finally have a moment to write down some things that have happened in the last couple months:

  • Winter Retreat 2014: Organic Faith was great!  It was a little different, but I think it was a blessing retreat, and I think it was a good kickoff for 2014.NL WR 2014 group pic
  • Welcome to our new daughter, Alenna! I can’t really remember what it was like when my boys were newborns…. I must have blocked it out of my memory or something!  Carrying her is like holding a feather, compared to the incredibly dense mass that is called Sam.  But seriously, it was a relatively quick delivery and the boys really adore her.  Whenever she cried, they are always yelling, “Mommy!!!!!  Baby’s crying!!!!!!”  You know… ‘cuz we cannot hear the crying baby in the same room as us….    =)     FYI, mommy and baby are healthy and at home!

  • Another semester has started for me in seminary.  Since I’m taking online courses, I, unlike traditional students, do not get afforded snow days…. or polar vortex days, as it were.  On the upside, I don’t have to make up any of those days at the end of the academic year!

I hope to post more often in the future.  My goal is to write a 150-200 post, 1-2 times a week.  Hopefully, I will be able to meet or exceed this goal.  Here’s to seeing what a new year will bring!
